Postnatal Physiotherapy

It’s a common misconception that women will ‘bounce back’ from the physiological changes that occur during pregnancy. Every woman will have an individual experience of pregnancy and childbirth and we strive to provide each person we see with specific, targeted, evidence-based advice and treatment to help aid in the management and recovery of these changes. The physiological changes that occur during pregnancy and childbirth are incredible, and with the knowledge and advice provided by our physiotherapists at gro.w, you can be sure you will have the support and tools to manage your recovery and achieve your goals.

We strongly recommend all women have a physiotherapy check at around six weeks postnatal. This will involve a thorough assessment of your general health, obstetric history, pelvic floor health, abdominal muscles and exercise and activity goals.
